Weary

Sometimes I am just weary, worn out. There are mornings when I wake up and I'm not sure where I will get the energy to go through the day. On those days I am so glad to know that my God does not ever grow weary and never wonders where He is going to get the energy to get ME through the day.

"Have you never heard? Have you never understood? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of all the earth. He never grows weak or weary. No one can measure the depths of His understanding.

He gives power to the weak and strength to the powerless. Even youths become weary and tired, and young men will fall in exhaustion.

But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint." Isaiah 40:28-31

So once again my job is simply to trust Him. He doesn't promise to wave a magic wand and remove all the things that make me feel weary, but He does promise to give me strength when I am powerless and power when I am weak.

At the end of the day I look back and I can see how He has been faithful and has carried me through even the most exhausting days!
